Railway Communication in Gujrat
City of Gujrat is situated on Karachi-Lahore-Rawalpindi-Peshawar Railway Track, so you can travel to and from Gujrat to almost any city of Pakistan which is linked through railway system. There is also a big Railway Junction, Lalamusa Railway Junction in District Gujrat about 10km from Gujrat City. Khyber Train which travels from Peshawar to Karachi passes through Gujrat. Usually regular travelers and people who are traveling for longer distances use railway.

Road Communication in Gujrat
Gujrat is linked with Islamabad and Lahore through Grand Trunk Road. GT Road is an oldest highway of Pakistan which connects Lahore, Muridke, Gujranwala, Rahwali, Wazirabad, Gujrat, Lalamusa, Kharian, Sarai Alamgir, Jhelum, Dina, Gujar Khan, Rawat, Islamabad, Taxila, Wah Cantt, Hassan Abdal, Attock and Peshawar. GT Road was built by a Muslim Emperor Sher Shah Suri for military purpose so it was also called in past as Sher Shah Suri Road.
A Road also linked Gujrat to Sargodha, Bhalwal, Phalia and Mandi Baha ud Din While Gujrat is linked with Sialkot, Daska and Sambrial through two ways. All towns and villages of Gujrat are linked with each other or to main cities through carpeted roads.

Airports in Gujrat
Although, district Gujrat has not any commercial airport but it is connected with Sambrial Airport Sialkot, Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore and Benazir International Airport Islamabad with first-class road network. Sambrial Airport is only on a drive of 30 minutes, while it will take you 2~3 hrs to reach to Lahore Airport and 3~3.5 hrs to reach to Islamabad Airport.
There is an airport in Gujrat which was built to land training aero planes but its use has been made ceased.

اصلي نام امام دين، تخلص استاد، ١٨٧٠بمقام برات ميں پيدا ہوئے اور ١٩٥٤ کو گجرات ہني ميں وفات پائي، تعليم پرائمري اور ميونسپل کميٹی ميں محصول چونگي پر منشي گيري کرتے رہے، اپني منفرد، طنزيہ اور عجيب و غريب قسم کي شاعري کي بنا پر استاد کہلاتے تھے، ہر چند فن شاعري سے نابلند تھے، ليکن شاعري کے يہ کم تعليم يافتہ پہلوان شاعر غالب کي طرح اپنے مقابلے ميں کسي کو خاطر ميں نہيں لاتے تھے، استد امام دين گجراتي نے اپني مزاحيہ شاعري کي بدولت شہرت پائي۔





Education Of Imam Din 
His actual school education was only primary level but he used to write many honorary degrees with his name. All these degrees were not awarded by any university to him; however he himself or his fans awarded these  honorary titles to him. His self-styled titles are explained as follows:
‘BA’ – Baba-e-Adab  ‘MA’ – Mojad-e-Adab
‘ASS’ – Afsar Shair-o-Shaery  ‘PHD’ – Phaazil Degree
‘USA’ – Ustad Shouraa-e-Alam

لکھا تھا مرے بھاگ ميں يہ شخص نگوڑا

مارے کبھي چانٹے تو کبھي ہاتھ مروڑا


ميرے لئے ناکارہ ہے ناکارہ رہے گا
دفتر ميں بھي بھاگ آتا ہے اکثر يہ بھگوڑا


اس شخص کے برتائو سے ميں آچکي ہوں تنگ
 اس نےتو مجھے خواب ميں بھي آن جھنجھوڑا

Ustad Imam Din’s Poetry


Tehre gode main hae dard-e jigar mam dina
Kabi udar hae to kabi Idar maamd dina

Janat ki siteen to pur ho chuki hain 
tu jaldi se dozakh main bar mam dina


He started writing poetry in 1902. He also wrote some poetry books; Bang-e-Dhul is one of his very famous books. Many people said that he named this book as the name of Bang-e-Dara of Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal. He also met with Allama Iqbal in Lahore and wrote following Punjabi verses about this meeting:

ميرے صنم خانے کي شرافت تو ديکھو
وہ کوٹھے پر چڑھ کر جھاتياں مارتا ہے
تيري گلي ميں آواں نہ مٹر کے
تيري گلي ميں سانوں کتا واڈتا ہے
ميرے صنم کي نزاکت تو ديکھو
مکياں دے پھلے کھڑا چاہتا ہے

Uchalta hai baansoun Jigar Maam deena
Kai jabse lari hai nazar maam deena!

Kisi nai ye mari hai tar maam deena
kai ghar mai pakkai hai Mattar maam deena

Haseenoun ki zulfain kahaan teri kismet
Tu khotay ki pooshal parh maam deena!

Koi seat jannat mai khali nahi hai
tu jaldi sai dozakh mai war maam deena!
He was a very patriot Pakistani. He wrote some poems in the support of Muslim League and Quaid-e-Azam during Pakistan movement.


Gujrat News About Rescue 1122


A very terrible accident of a biker took place on Sargodha Road's Railway Overhead Bridge at, 03 September 2011 at about 02:25pm. The injured person got some severe injuries; his right leg was broken from two points and he his right arm was also fractured.
In the meantime We reached there, people are gathering at that spot. Someone calls to Rescue 1122 and the Rescue Team reached there within 4 minutes with ambulance. Team was comprised upon 3 persons, they were well equipped with all the basic gadgets. Rescue 1122 Team provided first aid to the victim with care. They were good in their expertise and polite in their behavior. They not only provide rescue services to the victim but also dispersed the crowed with patience. After few minutes Edhi Ambulance also reached there.
Rescue 1122 is serving the people of Gujrat as well as people of other cities of Punjab in emergencies in a very good manner.

We should take utmost care while biking especially young bikers should avoid speed thrilling, wheeling and other stunts with their bikes as it may be fatal in some cases. We should also wear a safety helmet while biking.

Jail Road Gujrat Pakistan Latest Pics

Gujrat is situated on the bank of Chenab River, situated about 120 kilometres north of Lahore, the capital city of Punjab province, and 150 kilometres  from Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.
 Prominent nearby locations include Jalalpur Jattan,Jhelum,Gujranwala, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Lalamusa and Bhimber-Azad Kashmir.
 The city is surrounded by many villages and towns, which supply significant labour to the local market.

 The city has a moderate climate. During the peak of summer, the daytime temperature shoots up to 45 °C , but the hot spells are relatively short due to the proximity of the Azad Kashmir Mountains.
 During the winter, the minimum temperature may fall below 2 °C (36 °F). The average rainfall at Gujrat is 67 centimetres (26 in)
